I am changing. Some believe that death is necessary in order for transmigration of the soul to occur. They have never seen Itshak Perlman play Orchestra Hall. Here is man who has spent his life crippled by polio since the age of 4, yet makes a creamona violin tearfully sing. Although he couldn't stand, when I novicely interupted his rehearsal at DSO, he greeted me like an old friend. That night he conducted the overture Roman Carnival while seated with the brightest smile across his face. He was changing right before our eyes. He was an old soul in a new life, transmografied into a bliss that spread like fire. I feel that today, and know that I am changing.
